We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience and a deep understanding of medical software products.

Must

  • Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, and JavaScript
  • Strong understanding of relational databases.
  • Experience with Tensorflow, and/or Pytorch.
  • Experience with IEC 62304 or FDA regulations is advantageous, as is a background in the medtech industry.

Nice to have

  • User interface and application development experience.
  • Experience with software testing and automated testing frameworks.
  • Experience working under IEC 62304 or FDA is a strong plus.
  • Previous experience in software development in medical technology field.
  • Master in computer science, medical technology, or related field fluent in several languages

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the development of b-rayZ software as a medical device, while also contributing to other software projects.
  • Develop and support software components, including applications, database integration, interfaces, and feature enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with the IEC 62304 software life cycle standard for Medical Devices.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align projects with business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Play a key role in product testing, deployment, and bug resolution.
  • Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback to peers, and ensure high code quality.
  • Implement software unit and verification testing, finding innovative solutions to technical challenges.
  • Evaluate cooperation and outsourcing partners, overseeing software module programming and outsourcing.
